Mixing two of my favorite subjects, cascaded rubber bands and gelatin filled Christmas globe.

Just wedge a globe between two rubber bands. And align and fire the pellet.

I like how it all looks so fake. I used two flashes for this shot, so the lighting is much flatter.

My flash collection is getting impressive.

Three flash heads, a dual power supply and my original self contained, but much lower power unit, which runs at 12kV. All the other stuff is at 20-22kV.

Since the flash power goes up as voltage squared, the light output of my newer flashes is over three times higher. I have also made some changes to the flash tube which I am hoping will greatly increase the lifetime of the tube. My latest head also has a thicker outer envelope which makes the flash much less noisy.

One of these days I may actually figure this stuff out.

Bear used small black flat rubber band as suspenders for BGS.
First, I removed her arms and legs but remained the joint part. Under her armpit there are one small gap on each side that allows rubber band go from inside the jacket to outside and hitch up the arm joint.
Do one side first, then pull rubber band cross the leg joint, make sure to turn the rubber band once before you hitch it to the other arm joint.
Attach every thing back and we are all set.
